On Friday 29th May, Carolina Friere (F'00), a Panamanian Georgetown University Alumni and founder of Voluntarios de Panamá, a non-profit that works towards engaging citizens in volunteer opportunities, participated in a panel organized by the Center for Social Justice in discussing how alumni are forging change in their communities across the globe.
Other Georgetown Alumni that in the panel were Aaron Shneyer (C'05), founder of Heartbeat: Jerusalem, a music program that brings together Israeli and Palestinian high school students to write and play music; and moderated by Andria Wisler, executive director of the Center for Social Justice.
