Friends, family and Georgetown Alumni had the opportunity to visit the Metro of Panama with Minister Roberto Roy. This is the first ever metro being built in Panama with the aim to attend the needs of the growing Panamian population.
On April 8th, the president of Georgetown University John J. DeGioia visited Panama in honor of the launch of the Bridge of the Americas Endowment Fund.
On March 25th 2013, in the Trump Ocean Club International Hotel and Tower, Dr. Robert Groves, Executive VP and Provost of Georgetown University and Dr. Jorge Arosemena, Executive Director of The City of Knowledge Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding to explore the possibility of the physical presence of the institution in Panama.
John J. DeGioia, President of Georgetown University visited Panama during the Central American and Caribbean Regional Alumni Meeting that took place on February 4th 2012. President DeGioia addressed over 150 Georgetown alumni, family and friends.
